For Post-Season and End of Season

God of the both/and, we are filled with so much: gratitude and grief, excitement and uncertainty, fatigue and never wanting the season to end.

You are with us in all of it.

Help us remember the lessons learned and ways we grew this year.

Help us trust that we offered enough, and most of all, are enough.

Comfort us as we bless those leaving or transferring or graduating.

Give us the courage to say goodbye and offer gratitude with respect and love to those who have been our teammates for however long or short a time.

Help us be present to whatever is left of this season or this semester.

Help us be present, O God, to lean into the both/and of what the end of a season and a semester means for each of us.

Jesus, you are the Both/And, human and Divine.

Be with us.
