Georgia McKee is a Baptist minister, writer, and former NCAA Division 1 athlete passionate about the intersection of faith, athletics, and justice. A 2021 graduate of Belmont University, she played softball while earning a B.A. in Faith & Social Justice, exploring the unique intersections of sports, public life, and theology. She later earned her Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity, where she was a Wait Fellow and president of the Student Leadership Council.
She has been a vocal advocate for athlete activism, serving as a panelist for CoSIDA’s Critical Conversation: Activism and How to Amplify the Voices of Student-Athletes and Staff and the 2021 NCAA Convention’s Supporting Student-Athlete Activism session. She has also been featured in The Dallas Morning News and on the Hustle and Pro podcast. Before stepping into pastoral ministry, she worked as a digital communications associate for the Baptist Joint Committee, helping to lead the Christians Against Christian Nationalism campaign.
Now a pastoral resident at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas, Georgia is committed to fostering conversations at the intersection of sports, faith, and justice. She lives in Dallas with her wife, Sophia, and their two dogs, Dolly and Goose. When she’s not pastoring or creating content, you can find her hiking, volunteering on political campaigns, or catching a game.
