Rev. James Franklin
The Rev. James Douglas Franklin III serves as Campus and Young Adult Missioner in Winston Salem, NC, primarily at Wake Forest University. He holds degrees from Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas (Masters of Divinity) and UNC Chapel Hill (Bachelor of Arts).
James landed his dream job in campus ministry, combining his love of coaching students, providing spiritual direction, preaching, writing, and helping create beloved community. James is the co-editor of Belovedness: Finding God (and Self) on Campus (2020) - a collaborative and ecumenical collaboration written especially for students who suspect there might be more to following Jesus in college than the "evangelical" would have us believe. He loves exploring the mountains of NC and lives in Winston Salem with his wife and daughters.
